Dont worry. This wont become a fitnessblog, but Im eager to share my fitness-diary with someone. I have to say Im proud. Been working out 5-6 days a week for the last couple of weeks, and I love it. I feel like theres something I can control, and that I can suceed at – sounds a bit cra-cra? Anyway. If youre like me, you love motivation, so Ive collected some motivation pics. When thats said, I also have to say, that my goal is not to loose weight, but these girls have muscles and curves that I admire.
When it gets colder, I seem to go back to homo sapience time, and get an urge to fill up all of my repositories. I plan meals, go grocery shopping and eat huge amounts of comfortfood. 70% fat or more required. So of course I also love stocking up on food pics, and I thought id share what im drooling over today.
Im not a big fitness-freak, and I often and happily consume fries and fat indian food (yesterday as a prime example), but I have made a little healt agreement with myself. Workout at least twice a week. A workout can be anything. Walking, running, lifting weights with the badboys in the gym – anything. This might seem like a pretty low aim, but as I tell myself – rather succeed in the small things, than blaming myself for not being able to reach goals, that are too big. Do you know what I mean?
So yesterday I went for a 5 km walk, and did a 10 min Victoria secret workout. Not the biggest fan of the name tho, but I feel it today.
Luckily my neighbor is Frederiksberg Garden, which means than workout become meditation-ish time as well.
“WE ARE THE GIRLS WITH ANXIETY DISORDERS, FILLED APPOINTMENT BOOKS, FIVE-YEAR PLANS. WE TAKE OURSELVES VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY. WE ARE THE PEACEMAKERS, THE DO-GOODERS, THE GIVERS, THE SAVERS. WE ARE ON TIME, OVERLY PREPARED, WELL READ, AND WITTY, INTELLECTUALLY CURIOUS, ALWAYS MOVING… WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON GETTING AS LITTLE SLEEP AS POSSIBLE AND THRIVE ON SELF-DEPRIVATION. WE DRINK COFFEE, A LOT OF IT. WE ARE ON BIRTH CONTROL, PROZAC, AND MULTIVITAMINS… WE ARE RELENTLESS, JUDGMENTAL WITH OURSELVES, AND FORGIVING TO OTHERS. WE NEVER WANT TO BE AS PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE AS OUR MOTHERS, NEVER WANT TO MARRY MEN AS UNINSPIRED AS OUR FATHERS… WE ARE THE DAUGHTERS OF THE FEMINISTS WHO SAID, “YOU CAN BE ANYTHING,” AND WE HEARD, “YOU HAVE TO BE EVERYTHING.”
